 The black stone found at Gandaki river in Nepal is believed to be very auspicious and life changer. use it with care because the power can destroy you complete if you are not well grounded with earth energy. Famous for its life transformational properties people are obsessed over this stone. This is also known as stone of Shiva and has immense powers.

Breaking the myth is this informative post here because after being alongside with many gemstones for so many years, buying them from different places, wearing and using them in different forms here is my take on the stone Shaligram, I don't have this and would never actually! Black stones repel people and many times people end up being alone as black stones have energy to drive away any other energy coming towards you. This seriously affects relationships if you wear fully black stones for longer periods. I in fact avoid totally black paintings also and even in my black and white paintings I add some hint of colour or gold to break the cycle of energy drain. 

No doubt the stone has really strong powers if you find an original. The Purans, Hindu scripturas, mention of twenty different types of Shaligram, each attributed to a different incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The original stone is worshipped as representation of Lord Vishnu, as shivlinga is worshipped for shiva.  The river banks activate the stone with water currents energy and I have a few stones from base of Himalayas, sea beds, mountain ranges, unknown places with vibes and energy pulsating yet after many years too. Yes, stones where water flows continuously has some strong energy imbibed in them. Placing these stones in north or north east will bring immense feng shuii benefits in health wealth and relationships if used correctly. 

It is right that the Shaligram stone has immense benefits and will suddenly bring immense luck, like from rags to riches! but is it so for everyone? No. That is why it needs to be read, understood and used with utmost care. If things go wrong the stone can destroy everything and take a king to rags. Effects usually affect mind and health first and then spread gradually to relationships', work, money depleting them slowly till people may go insane or mad completely. 

If you personally buy a genuine stone Shaligram from know authentic sources and connect with it there are more joys awaiting you. But in case you fear and then buy the stone this may start acting weirdly. For any gemstone I always say try it for few days or weeks and then if things work progressively then the stone loves you, if things are chaotic then you better purify the gemstone and try one more time. If still things are confusing and you attract losses and accidents then better do away the stone with due respect as it is not for you. Tremendous confidence to face any challenges in life the stone is a life transformational one. 

Buying shaligram stone- If you have the stone keep it with due respect in a wooden stand. Ideally the stone must be handed from a Guru, father or male senior of the family or your spiritual teacher. Nowadays it may not be possible so buy from senior knowledgeable person and follow some rituals before beginning to use the Shaligram stone. Give the black stone milk bath and then wipe with pure clean water dipped soft cloth. Burn incense and pray for blessings from the Universe. 

Uses- Shilagram stone is also available in form of locket and needs to be worn with care. Usually7 every age person can wear this but be careful with small children. The stone leads to a spiritual fulfilled life of complete luck and success. You can request intentions of good health and wealth.

The Shaligram black stone is also very powerful stone to remove negative energies from any place. If you find negativity you can pour water over the stone and use this to sprinkle in every corner and walls of your home to drive away negative energies.
