Most times they love but at times they make me confused? gemstones behave and effect differently due to vibes of surrounding people and environment hazards. The love for gemstones continues as I try to yet tap into the hidden powers of these coloured power stones. Every time they behave differently, sometimes warning me, sometimes making me uneasy and most times showering me with extra love! Definitely at times sending red alert signals from negative surroundings which now I have learned to understand.

It also has a lot to do with our own body energy and our situations/environment. 

I have learned to listen to them and that has helped me a lot. Gemstones, finger rings, necklaces of unique gemstone combinations all have their own soul and communicate with the wearer. Then also the same gemstones jewelry will have different effect on different wearers. It is well known fact that Gemstones love some people and resist for some. In times of low energy they end up draining me more and some are the ones who instantly replenish my mood and my feelings. 

Mostly my Amethysts are the one's that throws tantrums frequently. I Have tamed it now, after more than twenty years of being with it. It surely took a long time for my body to get familiar with its love, being my birthstone, I still sometimes hesitate to wear Amethysts with some combinations. But have found the right combination of earth moon stone, opal, emerald and few more. 

About Gemstones energy and why they behave strangely at times?

Energy of the gemstone is connected with our body energy mostly. Hence I always advice to buy gemstones after personally holding them and trying to harmonize and get in sync with its energy first and only then buy it. 

Otherwise they show you strange effects and at times very serious effects. From wrong choices people have fallen too sick, some have completely shut down businesses and some are cheated by close ones. Like back stabbing. 

You may also notice that before a presentation, a big function or stressful situation you find your body becomes hot on wearing some gemstones. You also get more irritable and angry or confused on wearing a particular gemstone. 

There is also sometimes unexpected fall or nausea feelings coming up suddenly. 

Those are all the havoc about your specific stones. It is hence very important that you go through the proper way to be friends with your gemstones so they guide you and help you with all life situations.

The ritual of getting familiar with your gemstone-

Whatever the gemstone jewelry or costliest gemstone you have purchased it will need some time to get familiar with your body energy and so will you. 

Do this-

1) When you purchase or make a customized gemstone jewelry piece do not wear it immediately.  You can check the size and details but then remove it and keep it safe. 

2) Find out your lucky date and time. Auspicious time and date/day. I usually, follow the birth date and come to the number. And also the time-before noon, before evening, early hours of the day etc. This is different for different people. 

3) Purification. Even though there is no visible dust or negative energy there is you must understand accumulated energy fear anger frustration of the maybe maker, or handler or shipper etc. The hidden energy needs to be cleared before the stone can work for you. Here I am not at all talking about physical shine. 

4) If possible make a very mild salt water wipe the stone with it, wash with mineral or clear mountain water. Dry the gemstone with soft muslin cloth, complete dry.

5) Give it some fresh sunlight, after dawn the first rays of the sun are most auspicious. Your gemstone will boost up and be so happy!

6) Burn some incense to purify its aura and make it spread its true energy. The ritual will remove hidden energy dust and make your stone fresh and active , ready to work for you with you, working towards the best for your life.

7) Do not allow anyone to touch the stone after purification ritual. Do not share with anyone, do not show or do it in front of anyone. 

8) As the stone absorbs fresh rays close your eyes, hold the gemstone and put intentions. This step is of utmost importance. Be specific, be clear and give it a command of things you wish to achieve alongside with this energy.  

If you don't put a command the stone will catch thought waves coming from anywhere and may not be able to give you correct results.

 Is the gemstone you are buying original? How can you find out whether the gemstone and jewellery you are buying is genuine, no doubt they cost a fortune and do not come cheap, genuine gemstones range from thousands of rupees to lakhs for diamonds and one needs to have some knowledge before buying a  genuine gemstone  or any gemstone jewelry. Remember all that shines is not a diamond! Some frustration comes as we are willing to pay for original stones but we don't get them.You are willing to pay for genuine gemstones but it is difficult to recognise and many get duped by buying colored glass and crystals instead of original gemstones.

Untreated stone, Raw , natural stones are very hard to find nowadays. My personal preference, being a healing artist is for raw stones. As I have seen many raw stones that look so beautiful and have an aura of strength of its own , though they do not shine as much as treated stones they have greater price and one wonders why? natural stones are hard to find and most of the gemstone jewellers treat the stones for beautifying it and producing a stone of sheer sparkle. We love the shine of any gemstone and buy the shiniest gemstone.
When you look out for a original gemstone first feel the stone , what energy does it emit. Go with your gut instinct. The stone will communicate to your energy and you may feel attracted to the gemstone. Hold the gem in your hand feelings of peace, happiness, special, or uneasiness and discomfort, be it visual or physical,  go with gut feelings.

Now for some serious tips for selecting genuine gemstones-
Before going out to buy any gemstone or jewellery do find out some information about the birthstone or any gemstone you like on the internet. You are going to pay a large sum of money so better get some information on stones as you do not wish to be duped with a imitation stone.
1) price of gemstones is on carats and not size of the stone. Touch the stone-it will feel cooler. Even rose quartz and emeralds are upon carat weight. You will see the jeweler will weigh and calculate cost of what you are buying. hence a gemstone pyramid is differing cost, a finger ring stone will be different and a pendant shape will have different cost. 
2) Observe the stone physically and in light. closely observe for flaws, you may even request to observe small diamond gemstone with magnifying glass, crack, minor flaw muddy.
Stones of same name may have different hues and shades. Dark and light colored stones and very dark stones may not show any color, so look out for the color that you like and not just for the name of the stone.

Another really important point to consider while buying for original gemstones is we see natural formations inside the stone, you are lucky if you see one, they add a glint of excitement and royalty to gemstone. I always search for this rarity and if you are lucky you get a really good stone.

 3) In the showroom , lots of heavy lights and any piece of glass may shine. Better to by from reputed brands and only those who are well known for their reputation in selling original good quality gemstones with authenticity card. Take a look at the gemstone in natural sunlight light to observe the right cut, it must  shine everywhere and not just in the strong halogen lights in the jewelry shop. Look at the points where it reflects sunlight and sparkles from every side. One thing for sure, the machine cuts do sparkle more. 
4) "Meet points"  a term used in gemstones means that the points where the stone is cut and meets, intersects,  connects to the other side must be precise and neat, sharp cut. If the cut or edges are not sharp then the diamond stone or  emerald will not reflect light as desired and this shows flaws in the gemstone. Please avoid chipped stones and corners missing, these produce negative/ shar energy and may have fallen or broken hence the dent and chip. The seller will convince you it is natural formations of lines but if you feel and see the physical cracks ,do not buy.

5) "Windows"  another term used along with gemstones, the gemstone is cut from sides in different angles for the light to reflect from every side, when the cut is not proper the stone become transparent. Windows means you can see through the stone , the other side, which is not a good quality considered for genuine gemstones. Simply put the stone on a newspaper and see whether you can see the words, you must not, if you can the cut in your stone is not of good quality.
